21 March 2005 – Alexandria (VA): The board of directors of the Independent Office Products and Furniture Dealers Association (IOPFDA), the parent organisation for NOPA and OFDA, has formed an executive search committee to find a replacement for president/CEO Jim McGarry, who will step down on 1 April.
IOPFDA chairman Peter Kordus said: "The search committee is committed to hiring a seasoned industry professional who can hit the ground running and wear many hats – industry representative, association business manager, membership recruiter, strategic planner, negotiator and sales person."
