18 April 2006 – Singapore (SG): Hewlett Packard is to open an intellectual property licensing office in Singapore.
The office aims to develop new licensing agreements with companies in fast-growing economies such as India, Taiwan and China, in an attempt to better capitalise on the 30,000-plus patents owned by HP.
