HP hires new marketing chief

12 September 2007 — Palo Alto (CA): Hewlett-Packard (HP) has named Michael Mendenhall as chief marketing officer.

He will take up the role on 1 October. His responsibilities will include leading the company’s brand marketing, customer intelligence and corporate communications.


Mendenhall has spent the last 17 years working for Walt Disney and most recently served as director of marketing and publicity activity for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts.
