Herman Miller posts Q4 rise


23 June 2005 – Zeeland (MI): Herman Miller has reported that Q4 net income rose 12 per cent to $21.6 million, or EPS of $0.31, from $19.3 million, or EPS of $0.27, a year earlier.

Q4 earnings exceeded analysts expectations of EPS of $0.27.

Revenue in the quarter increased from $353.8 million to $407.5 million.

The company has estimated Q1 net income at EPS of between $0.30 and $0.34, higher than estimates of $0.28, and expects revenue to reach between $420 million and $440 million.
