Herman Miller announces annual rise

30 June 2006 — Zeeland (MN) Herman Miller have announced a 14.6 percent year-on-year rise in net sales.

 

According to their annual financial report, released this week, consolidated net sales totalled $1.74 billion and orders increased 15.1 percent to $1.77 billion.

 

Herman Miller CEO, Brian Walker, said: "We’re now two years into our 2010 goal to double the business, and in each of the past two years we have been on track by delivering a double-digit growth rate in sales.

 

"Our intent, after adjusting for the extra week of sales, is to do that again in 2007 through the investments we have made in new products and new markets."

 

Fourth quarter revenue rose 9 percent to $444.1 million year-on-year, beating analyst’s expectations of a $443.8 million target.
