Bidding for a unified corporate identity, Office Depot has changed Guilbert UK’s company name to Office Depot UK.
Announcing the move, UK and Ireland managing director Peter Birks said that the combined company was in "an even stronger position to deliver solid results over the coming years."
Depot completed the acquisition of Guilbert’s contract business in June 2003 for an initial price tag of 1815 million.
Staples had earler bought Guilbert’s mail order unit.
