30 May 2006 – Sawston (UK): David Grassby, marketing director at Spicers UK, has left the company.
Grassby resigned to have a career break but plans to return to the industry at a later date. "I had seven good years at Spicers and I wish them well," he told OPI. "Having been in wholesaling at both Kingfield Heath and Spicers for a total of 22 years, I suspect that I’ll look at moving into a different part of the industry in the future. I’m going to watch the World Cup, watch England win, then start looking after that."
