16 October 2006 — New York (NY): Gould Paper is to acquire paper merchant Cascades Resources from PaperlinX Canada.
Cascades is headquartered in Vancouver and has operations in Alberta. It has a market share of 24 percent in its trading area.
Earlier this month Gould acquired Miami-based Southern Paper.
