13 November 2006 — New York (NY): Gould Paper has completed its acquisition of the western Canadian merchant operations of Cascades Resources from Paperlinx Canada.
The operations’ headquarters will remain in Vancouver and the division will continue to trade as Cascades Resources in the short-term.
Last month, Gould completed the acquisition of Miami-based Southern Paper.
