Georgia-Pacific to spend $200 million updating mill

23 August 2006 — Atlanta (GA): Georgia-Pacific’s board of directors has approved the installation of a through-air-dried paper towel machine and related converting equipment at the Wauna mill in Oregon.

 

The $200 million project is part of the paper company’s ongoing strategy to become the market leader in the supply of premium paper towel and bath tissue products.
