24 November 2004 – Zurich (CH): Office World has taken another step further on its road to Swiss-wide coverage with the announcement of another new store.
After opening its 16th store on 22 September at the Matran retail park near Fribourg, the retailer is to open its 17th store at the Gaupark shopping centre in the Swiss town of Egerkingen on the 1 December.
Office World is also expanding activities in the catalogue ordering and online shopping channels. CEO Matthias Baumann said: "We leave it to our customers to decide whether they want to shop in a superstore, order via the internet or make their purchases from a catalogue. The superstores also underpin the strong Office World brand, which in turn promotes direct business."
