8 February 2005 – Tokyo (JPN): Fuji Xerox is revamping its distribution systems for markets in the US and Europe, according to online Japanese news service Nikkei.
The company has established two hub warehouses in the US, one in the east and one in the west, as well as a single European hub in the Netherlands in order to better manage copiers and printers.
The hubs, which will store finished products, will allow the company to respond more quickly to market changes and reduce delivery times from as much as three months to a few weeks, according to the report.
