22 February 2005 – Düsseldorf (GER): Sales at Henkel increased 12.3 per cent to €10.6 billion ($14 billion) in fiscal 2004, thanks to growth across all its business sectors, the company has announced.
Ulrich Lehner, chairman of the company’s management board, said: "Despite the difficult economic environment, 2004 was another good year for Henkel. We achieved our targets and have made Henkel well positioned for the future.
"Strengthened by our US business and our presence in growth regions, we intend to grow faster than our relevant markets in 2005," he added. "We also want to further improve the profitability of all our businesses."
