21 December 2005 – Memphis (TN): FedEx Kinko’s has reported a one per cent rise in Q2 revenue although operating income dropped 45 per cent due to decline in copy product line revenues and costs associated with internal tech enhancements and product offering initiatives.
Revenue reached $528 million compared to $524 million a year earlier. Operating income was $16 million, down from $25 million a year earlier.
FedEx as a whole reported a 33 per cent jump in net income to $471 million (£270 million), or EPS of $1.53, from last year’s $354 million, or EPS of $1.15.
Revenue grew 10 per cent to $8.09 billion from $7.33 billion in the same period in 2005.
