FedEx Kinko’s to double office products

9 August 2006 — Dallas (TX): FedEx Kinko’s is to open 200 new format stores next year.

The new 1,800 sq ft stores will offer twice the number of office products compared to the typical 6,000 sq ft Kinko’s stores.

The smaller store format will reduce construction, equipment and overhead costs by approximately 50 percent.

Additionally, the parent company of FedEx Kinko’s, FedEx, has pledged $5.5 million over the next five years to ORBIS International, a non-profit organisation, to help prevent blindness around the world.
