Faber-Castell receives industry achievement award

  27 January 2006 – Frankfurt (GER): Anton Wolfgang Graf von Faber-Castell picked up the highly-regarded industry achievement award at the European Office Products Awards (EOPA) last night.   The Count, who is in the eighth generation of the Faber-Castell family that set up the company in the town of Stein near Nuremberg in 1761, has led the company successfully since 1978. He was given a warm reception by the 500 attendees as he joined the stage to give an emotional acceptance speech.   In a surprise award, Bill Armstrong picked up the special recognition award.
