European role for Learmouth at Spicers

11 September 2007 — Sawston (UK): Spicers is strengthening its European purchasing team with the move of Colin Learmouth from director of merchandising in the UK to European purchasing manager.

Stewart Barton-Taylor, European purchasing director, said: "Colin’s knowledge and experience in product management will be a valuable asset to the team. This appointment underlines Spicers’ commitment to develop strength and depth within the purchasing team for the benefit, ultimately, of all our customers across Europe."


Spicers UK business development director, Andrew Kureishy, added: "Colin has done a tremendous job in Spicers UK and I have no doubt that his experience and character will be an asset to Spicers Europe and our European customers. Colin will take up his new role in January 2008 and we are in the process of looking to appoint a replacement to head the UK merchandising team."
