Europa Office Limited, the purchasing company owned by dealer groups Integra, Nemo and United Office Products, will be closing in July, it has been announced.
The company said that the three joint shareholders have been reviewing their services since changes were implemented last year. It added that delivering added value services and taking out duplication has always been fundamental to the core values of each group and that Europa Office will be restructured with further details to follow.
Each group has reiterated its commitment to working together to maximise purchasing leverage through BPGI and "a number of other projects".
In a joint statement on behalf of the three Europa shareholding groups and their respective boards, the CEOs, Rick Needle (Integra), Adrian Wallis (Nemo) and Chris Lee (United), said: "Europa has added significant benefits to our members, over a long number of years. Implementing the changes outlined ensures that we will continue our ongoing policy of adding value to the independent dealers within our groups in a cost effective way. The three groups will continue to work together on a number of joint projects and in particular with BPGI."
