31 July 2006 — High Wycombe (UK): The European Stationery and Office Products Trade Association (ESOTA) will be dissolved as a solely European organisation at the end of the year
ESOTA members decided, at their recent AGM, that their interests would be better served by the Federation of Office and Schools Products Associations (FOSPA), whose mission is to represent not-for-profit trade groups servicing the schools and office products industry.
Ben Wensing, ESOTA chairman and president of Dutch trade association OSTAN, said: "the dissolution of ESOTA is not about finishing but rather improving the ways information is exchanged between European trade bodies and the rest of the world on a wide range of issues."
