Australian school supplies manufacturer Heiser Bros, home of the Brenex brand, will cease operations before the end of the year.
The family-owned firm, which has been in business for almost 60 years, is expected to supply its last orders in November.
Heiser has agreed to sell the Brenex brand to Quill Stationery Manufacturers with Quill already planning additions to the product line.
Heiser and Quill are currently working together to ensure Heiser customers are caused the minimum of disruption during the crucial back-to-school period.
