Durable UK seeks new managing director

29 August 2007 — Ferndown (UK): Durable UK has announced a restructuring of its UK business, including the appointment of a new managing director from the start of 2008.

This will enable John Dale, who will continue to act as UK managing director until the end of 2007, to focus on his corporate role as SVP international operations, which includes overall responsibility for the company’s activities in Scandinavia, Holland, Belgium, France, Switzerland, UK, Ireland and North America.

"The time has come for me to move on and focus my efforts on my corporate role in managing the international business," said John Dale. "Combining two roles is never easy, but I will miss the day to day involvement with the UK company. However, I am pleased to say that I will still have contact with the UK business and market, but on an indirect basis."

Durable UK, the largest of the Durable international subsidiaries is located in Ferndown, Dorset.

Recruitment for the managing director vacancy is currently under way, with the appointment effective early in 2008.
