28 October 2004 – Iserlohn (GER): Durable is to drop the Sapona brand range of computer cleaning products from its portfolio as of the end of 2004, the company has revealed, in order to concentrate on its own branded products.
A high profile advertising campaign will be launched to spread awareness that the once popular Sapona brand has now been replaced by the Durable name.
Marketing manager Stewart Anderson said: "Sales of our own branded products have exceeded all forecasts thanks to greater consumer awareness and increased customer listings. Our intense marketing and promotional activity during 2004 has paid dividends, as Durable shows significant growth in computer cleaning products."
