14 February 2005 – Hemel Hempstead (UK): UK electrical retail group Dixons is said to be eyeing up a move on the Russian market.
According to reports, Dixons is considering a swoop for one of the country’s top electrical retailers, possibly M Video, while Technosila and Mir are also rumoured targets.
Dixons denied any "imminent" plans, but refused to rule the possibility out "in the medium to long term".
