Depot driver delivers $10,000 school prize

 

1 November 2006 — Delray Beach (FL): NASCAR’s Carl Edwards, driver of the No. 99 Office Depot Ford Fusion, has delivered $100,000 worth of supplies, technology and classroom products to a Missippi school that was hit by Hurricane Katrina.

 

The Earl Travillion Attendance Center (ETAC) elementary school in Mississippi won Office Depot’s back-to-school promotion "Great Tools for Your School Sweeps."

 

ETAC was randomly selected from more than two million entries nationwide to win the prize package which included a $9,999 school scholarship and laptop computers.
