24 May 2006 – Round Rock (TX): Dell, the world’s largest computer-maker, is to open retail stores in Dallas and New York later this year, reports the Austin American-Statesman.
The pilot stores will showcase about 35 different Dell products and represent a significant change for the company which is well-known for its policy of selling directly to customers.
