Dell creates 1,000 new jobs

5 June 2006 — Nashville (TN): Dell has announced plans to expand its Nashville operations by 1,000 workers in the coming months, reports the Nashville Business Journal.
 
CEO Kevin Rollins, who revealed the news at an employee rally last week, said the new additions will be across all departments with average salaries of $30,000 to $40,000. The company has invested more than $250 million in mid-Tennessee since its arrival in 1999.
