15 November 2006 — Bracknell (UK): Dell has bought UK-based IT services company ACS (UK) to expand its UK operations help customers maximise their returns on IT investments.
Stephen Murdoch, VP of Solutions and Services at Dell EMEA said: "Our goal is to help customers derive maximum value from their IT infrastructure investments. This acquisition is part of that strategy along with very aggressive organic growth."
Terms of the purchase were not disclosed, but Dell said the acquisition was not likely to have a material impact on its financial results.
Dell plans to integrate ACS employees fully into its operations when the acquisition is finalised.
