22 May 2007 — Basingstoke (UK): Computer 2000, the UK arm of Tech Data, is extending the range and choice of products its large format displays to satisfy a boom in the market.
The company has, in recent weeks, added the Sony BRAVIA and Philips Integrated Digital ranges of products to its portfolio and taken on additional models from Acer and ATEC.
Darren Sainsbury, audiovisual business unit manager for audiovisual at Computer 2000, says that now is the right time for the company to expand its range and for retailers and business resellers to take a more pro-active approach to taking audiovisual solutions to the market.
"We are seeing demand for large format displays booming in all sectors — from home cinema entertainment to digital signage in the business market and if dealers want to maximise the opportunity, it’s important to give customers a good range of choices. With our expanded portfolio, we can meet the needs of the very high-end buyer who wants to invest in a premium brand, to those who are more practically-minded and want great features and value."
