Closing time for Tiny

27 July 2005 – Burnley (UK): Granville Technology Group, the company behind Tiny and Time computer brands, has gone in to administration, with 1,500 jobs to be cut.

Granville has shut all 78 of its Computer Shop outlets and has started laying off workers in its Burnley plant in Lancashire.

Administrators Grant Thornton told The Times: "The group has fallen victim to the continued price deflation in the personal computer market, exacerbated by a softening of consumer demand in recent months and pressure from suppliers".
