Climb of Life aims for another milestone

OPI has begun its annual fundraising for the 2018 Climb of Life (COL) which is aiming to reach a total of £1 million ($1.3 million) raised for cancer research.

COL is the UK office product industry’s event that raises much-needed funds for The Institute of Cancer Research (ICR), the third largest medical research organisation of its kind in the world.

OPI has supported COL for nine years, and this year the theme is ‘The £1 Million Mountain Challenge 4 ICR’, referring to the grand total that will have been raised for ICR. As it stands, the total is currently over £900,000.

On 2 November, Team OPI will join about 120 members of the office products industry for COL in England’s Lake District where the group will attempt to climb the most difficult mountains in the country, most likely in awful conditions as this video from a past climb shows.
