Broadband contract comes with a laptop at PC World


20 July 2007 — (UK): Orange is offering a free laptop worth over £300 to new broadband customers who sign up for a two-year contract at PC World stores.

Niall O’Keeffe, marketing director for PC World, said: "Internet access and access to home IT is increasingly important for British families. There are educational benefits for children and numerous practical and social advantages for adults. We are pleased to be offering this groundbreaking deal as part of our commitment to Britain’s digital future."


The Orange broadband deal is available in two speeds. A two megabyte connection is available for £14.99 ($29.70) per month, with the first three months for half price, or an eight megabyte package is available for £19.99 a month.


PC World is also giving customers the option to trade up to a higher specification laptop or, alternatively, to receive a £350 discount on any laptop in store.
