2 February 2005 – High Wycombe (UK): The BOSS Federation is on the hunt for a new treasurer, following the announcement by Jeremy Oxley, holder of the post and executive board member for the past eight years, that he is to step down.

Paying tribute to Oxley’s contribution, BOSS chairman Rick Needle said: "Jeremy has played a key advisory role during a period of enormous change… The OP industry owes him a debt of gratitude for the part that he played."

Oxley, who will formerly step down at the federation’s AGM later this year, said: "I have enjoyed my role as treasurer of BOSS. But, after eight fascinating and enjoyable years and seeing through all the changes, it is time to pass the baton to someone new and to give that person the opportunity that I have enjoyed."
