17 January 2006 – Hong Kong (CHN): A small bomb exploded in a Carrefour supermarket in Shenzhen, Southern China, and three other stores including a Wal-Mart received threats.
Reports suggest at least one person was injured in the Sunday afternoon blast and it is believed the motive for the bombing was to extort money.
Police later detonated a second bomb found in Carrefour, Sing Pao.
