14 June 2006 – Lexington (KY): The Imaging Supplies Coalition has regretfully announced the death of Bill Duffy. Bill was in Prague, Czech Republic, on business and passed away on 30 May.
His passing will be felt heavily in the OP industry. After 31 years with IBM and Lexmark, he joined the Imaging Supplies Coalition (ISC) in 1998 as president and CEO, where he was instrumental in forming and developing the organisation.
Bill was also a frequent speaker on subjects such as international marketing, counterfeiting and fraud, representing the coalition at conferences around the world. In addition, he wrote numerous articles for business and industry publications.
Lisa Boblenz of the ISC stated: "The members of the coalition have lost a great friend and leader, the industry has lost a valued member and contributor. Bill will be forever remembered for his leadership skills, great wit but most of all his caring and devotion to his family, friends, peers and industry causes."
Bill is survived by his wife Barbara, son Matthew and daughters Jennifer, Erin, Meghan and Katherine.
