3 December 2004 – Pasadena (CA): Avery Dennison has announced that chairman of consumer packaging firm Rexam, Rolf Borjesson, will become a director of the company from 5 January.
Borjesson, who joined Rexam in 1996 as CEO and assumed the role of chairman in May 2004, also serves as a director on the board of Swedish pulp and paper manufacturer Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget.
Chairman and CEO of Avery Dennison, Phil Neal, said: "We are pleased to have Rolf Borjesson join our board of directors. He is an exceptional leader with valuable international business expertise that will greatly benefit Avery Dennison as we continue to grow."
