14 November 2005 – London (UK): Asda, the Wal-Mart owned chain of UK superstores, has reported it will create 2,800 new jobs in its UK operations as it expands to combat Tesco’s leading market share.
The firm said most of the jobs will be created at its Northern Ireland operations.
