8 February 2005 – Batavia (IL): The American Office Products Distributors (AOPD) has promoted its VP of sales and marketing, Bud Mundt, to its new full-time executive director.
Mundt, who will take his new position at the close of the annual meeting to take place 23-27 February, will replace Mark Leazer, who has served as executive director on an interim and part-time basis since October 2001.
Leazer said: "As the board and I have worked on this transition, we’ve determined that there is no individual more uniquely qualified to lead this organisation than Bud…he has the experience and passion to see AOPD and its dealers succeed in the market."
