7 March 2006 – Birmingham (UK): Antalis UK plans to transfer its envelope factories in Dyce and Dagenham to Mayer-Kuvert-network as part of a new strategic relationship with the company.
As part of the deal, Mayer will then supply envelopes to Antalis’ 20 warehouse locations across the UK and Ireland.
In a statement, Antalis said it is in a consultation period with staff at its envelope factories in the UK and that the intention is for their employment to transfer to Mayer.
Antalis managing director Henry Cubbon said: "By transferring our envelope production to Mayer, a true leader in this area, Antalis can focus on providing the very best stock and delivery service across the UK and Ireland. I am convinced that such a combination can only benefit our customers both short and long term"
