According to the French business magazine Challenges, the Gaspard family could put the company up for sale.
Speaking to opi.net, Eric Bigeard said that he had no idea where the rumour came from and that Lyreco was not involved in any process to put the company up for sale.
However, he did add that if a potential buyer came along with a cheque for six or seven billion Euros, then they would of course listen!
On a more serious note, Bigeard also added that Lyreco shareholders were very happy with the company’s latest bottom line results in the current climate of stock market uncertainty.
