Life’s a beach in Mexico for Dealers


More than 200 American independent office products dealers recently spent six days in Mexico courtesy of wholesaler ActionEmco.

The dealers qualified to attend by achieving purchase growth targets in 2007 over their 2006 purchase volume.

"This is a unique opportunity for independent dealers to get together in a casual atmosphere to discuss business strategies and learn about each other’s companies," noted Mike Maggio, CEO of ActionEmco.

"Our dealers very much enjoy this open, relaxed networking opportunity – to share ideas and meet dealers from other geographic regions, while having a lot of fun at the same time."

ActionEmco says that its senior management team used the time to meet one-to-one with many of the dealers to find out more about what the wholesaler can be doing to help them compete against the power channel.
