If you weren’t doing your present job, what job would you like to be doing? Running an animal shelter – not that far off from my current position, just different species in the cages!
The best moment in your career? The day Weeks Office Products and The Lerman Company moved into the same building and the merger was complete.
The worst moment in your career? 15 years ago when we lost our largest customer at the time.
The industry figures you most admire? Honestly – our owners Sid Lerman and Albert Benalloul who run a large company with a family atmosphere and a genuine concern for their employees.
Your best piece of advice to a colleague? Lead by example.
Your most embarrassing industry-related experience? Speaking to a colleague without the benefit of my full "faculties" and making an idiot of myself in the process!
What would you like to be doing in five years’ time? Spending my days by the pool somewhere, drink in hand and putting a tan on my already wrinkled body!
Your biggest achievement? Re-signing a large contract account we had lost to one of the big box players.
What do you think has been the best innovation in the OP industry in the last two years? The expanse of the wholesalers’ e-content.
