4 May 2006 – Nottingham (UK): UK computer manufacturer Acorn Computers is to make a return to the PC industry when it unveils a new product line at this year’s Computer Trade Show at NEC Birmingham on 10 – 11 May.
The brand, which used to operate in the education market during the 1980s and 1990s, will reveal four new notebooks at the show and invite resellers to carry its products. The new Acorn range runs Microsoft Windows XP and is designed to cater for four groups which the company tags: general public audience, education and academia, SME and SoHo business and large enterprise and public sector.
