25 July 2006 — St Paul (MN): 3M’s Q2 worldwide sales totalled $4.7 billion, an increase of 7.5 percent on Q2 2005.

Net income was $882 million, or EPS of $1.15, compared to $754 million, or EPS of $0.96, in the same quarter of the previous year.

Net sales for the consumer and office business segment were $786 million in Q2 2006 compared to $748 million in Q2 2005.
