10 May 2006 – St Paul (MN): 3M chairman and CEO George Buckley has announced that the manufacturer plans to focus its growth on Brazil, Russia, India, China and Poland because those markets are growing faster than the US.
Speaking at the company’s annual meeting, Buckley told shareholders that sales outside the US will rise from the current figure of 61 per cent to 70 per cent by 2011.
