21 March 2006 – Newton (MA): Lyra research has forecast that the global imaging supplies market will exceed $100 billion in 2006.
The digital imaging research agency forecasts this year to be the first time the market registers 12-digit revenue, exceeding hardware revenue by 68 per cent. Lyra says the growth is attributed in part to the availability of more affordable, high-speed, easy-to-use colour ink jet and colour laser printers that enable users to print more graphics-intensive documents.
