European aftermarket supplies vendor KMP is now showing customers how much CO2 they save when purchasing remanufactured cartridges.
The company says it has developed a methodology with an independent testing institute in accordance with the DIN EN ISO/IEC 17020 standard. This allows KMP to monitor and analyse the remanufacturing process of its cartridges in terms of CO2 emissions.
From now on, KMP will include the CO2 emissions of its products on customer invoices and tell them how much CO2 they have saved compared to buying a new cartridge – although it did not specify exactly how it makes this calculation.
The company claims its products saved almost 54 tonnes of CO2 in 2022.
