Several years ago, OPI felt that there wasn’t an event in the OP calendar that successfully brings together the leading vendors, resellers and distributors in the European business supplies industry. Not for an exhibition or a conference, but as a forum to facilitate strategic discussions between the channels in a confidential, time-measured and well-organised setting.
Born was OPI Partnership, launched in 2014 and now held on an annual basis in early March in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. What began as a small gathering with a modest selection of hand-picked attendees from predominantly the office supplies sector has since developed into a much-anticipated and always sold-out event that brings together decision-making executives from an ever-broadening industry.
The fifth OPI Partnership, to be held from 5-7 March 2018 at the exquisite Hotel Okura, will be the most expansive ever, hosting not only the biggest names in office products – Lyreco, Office Depot, Printus, Newell Brands, ACCO Brands and Fellowes to name but a few – but also the wider business supplies community, including the mighty Amazon, well-known Duracell and niche operator Safescan.
In addition to creating new and consolidating existing business relationships in strategic, timed meeting slots, attendees will also have plenty of networking opportunities, not least during the annual European Office Products Awards gala dinner, which will be held on 6 March at the end of the first full day of OPI Partnership.
