    The European Office Products Awards 2023

    Now in their 22nd year, the European Office Products Awards (EOPA 2023) continue to recognise the most exceptional products, companies and people in the business and workplace supplies industry.

    Entries are accepted in the following categories:

    Business Product of the Year
    Sustainability Excellence – Vendor and Reseller
    Marketing Campaign of the Year
    Initiative of the Year
    Marketplace/Platform of the Year –NEW
    Vendor of the Year
    Reseller of the Year
    Wholesaler of the Year
    Young Executive of the Year
    Professional of the Year
    Industry Achievement

    Business Product of the Year
    This category is open to any product sold via the European business and workplace supplies industry that has continued to succeed in a difficult market. The judges are looking for evidence of functionality, quality and, above all, commercial success. This category is open to products launched since January 2021.

    Sustainability Excellence: Vendor and Reseller
    Judges will reward companies that can demonstrate overall corporate sustainability performance and a genuine commitment to sustainable business practices. Vendor and reseller companies will be considered separately, and two awards will be presented in this category. Judges will consider:

    • Evidence of a strategic focus on sustainability
    • Whether your sustainability programme goes beyond best practice
    • How the programme is communicated and implemented
    • Methods used to monitor and measure the impact of your sustainability programme
    • How your commitment to sustainability benefits your business and the wider community

    Marketing Campaign of the Year
    This category is open to any organisation that can clearly show the success of a specific marketing campaign. Judges will consider:

    • Objectives of the campaign
    • Understanding of the target audience
    • Marketing activity, innovative methods used, originality and creativity
    • The return on investment generated

    Campaigns that have not started, or are too new to have measureable results, will not be considered.

    Initiative of the Year
    This award recognises any new initiative that has been implemented and has had a positive impact on your organisation. This could be:

    • A charitable or local community initiative
    • New online or e-commerce solutions
    • Pioneering technology
    • Creation of new revenue opportunities

    The panel will want to see why the initiative was introduced and how it has delivered the desired outcomes.

    Vendor of the Year
    Reseller of the Year
    Wholesaler of the Year
    These awards will recognise companies that have successfully adapted to the challenges of the pandemic and its aftermath. Judges will focus on organisations that have diversified, innovated and evolved their business model to succeed in a competitive and rapidly changing market.

    Marketplace/Platform of the Year – NEW
    This new award has been introduced to acknowledge the growing importance of online marketplaces and platforms. The panel will look for an exceptional operation which offers:

    • Superior customer experience: navigation, functionality, reliability, product range
    • Commitment to maximising the opportunity for selling partners: innovations, adaptability, support, ease of communication

    Young Executive of the Year      
    The business products industry needs young and dynamic individuals to ensure its continued success. This is your chance to nominate young executives who are making a real impact in their business and have the potential to shape the future of our industry. Nominees should be under 36 years of age and can be working in any role within the business products industry.

    Candidates will be asked to join an informal Zoom interview with four members of the judging panel on either 6 or 9 January 2023.

    Professional of the Year 
    Please send your nominations for exceptional individuals whose leadership ability, professionalism and effectiveness make a direct contribution to the success of their business.

    Industry Achievement
    The Industry Achievement award acknowledges the achievements of someone truly unique who will be recognised for outstanding leadership, business performance and significant impact on our industry. We welcome your nominations for this prestigious accolade.
