Background information

2021: With Jeanette Bresitz onboard, the focus is to take Office Friendly in a new direction post-pandemic and provide a fresh outlook on its future. 

Office Friendly is also part of the International Office Products Alliance (iOPA), a cooperative network of five dealer groups across the world that was formed in early 2018, with the aim to share knowledge, experiences and best practices.

Continuity in the marketplace was challenging throughout 2020, and Office Friendly sought to add dealers and inspire growth within existing members businesses. The group now holds over 140 members, with 26 new recruits during 2020 and 2021, and collective turnover is fast approaching £500 million ($684 million).

Weaver, the unique Office Friendly sustainability proposition, allows members to gain accreditation in eco-friendly practices across three distinct levels. The first Gold accreditation has now been awarded to Cosmos Solutions, which completed its certification in five key areas: carbon footprint, waste management, single-use plastics, sustainable products and social responsibility. 

In April, the dealer group partnered with the UK’s largest hardware and power tool distributor, Toolbank, in a three-year exclusive deal to help members diversify and expand their product portfolio into new sectors. 

Alongside its core marketing services, the KascAid in-house marketing and creative agency saw a spike in demand for reviewing, updating and upgrading digital platforms as many members invested in website development and e-commerce management. In addition, the group upgraded its Pioneer learning and management system.

During the pandemic, the Office Friendly team actively hosted peer group sessions for sharing ideas, best practices and news updates. Now, with the recently announced Reunion event, members and suppliers will once again reunite after a 24-month wait.
