Marking a huge leap forward in creating and bringing eco-friendly products to the market, Samsonite has announced the new Eco Collection for Asia.
Plastic waste is a critical global environmental issue that communities cannot ignore. To address this issue, Samsonite has been working tirelessly with one of their suppliers to create sustainable materials that are suitable for travel and lifestyle products.
Through the joint effort, Samsonite has successfully developed Recyclex, a fabric made of 100% post-consumer recycled plastic (PET) bottles. Recyclex is as durable and reliable as Samsonite’s polyester fabric made from virgin materials, but with the added benefit of reducing plastic waste.
